Updating on HHIHigh School Tennis Court Rebuilding:

This from Joan E. Deery, HHI tennis player & Beaufort County School Board member: "There has been a 3-week delay in finishing the courts as more work needs to be done. The Board voted to spend the additional $56,000 last night. They should be playable in January." Message was forwarded to TENNIS E-News by Joe Kopf, HHI tennis player & vice chair of HHI Parks & Rec Commission.

NOTICE FROM TENNIS E-News:

Seabrook for Weekend

Yes, TENNIS E-News will be on Seabrook Island this weekend for the Super Senior South Carolina State Championships.

That's the good news ... and the 'bad' news.

TENNIS E-News will be attempting to cover the Championships from a laptop while also captaining a Men's 60s team. Wireless access uncertain. And then there are all the rest of you who will be playing in the Wild Wing Cafe Nutty Buddy.

Hm. Seems as though we are apologizing in advance for the uncertaincies of the weekend. Got that right. In any case, please bare with us. Bare, as in indecent exposure of laptop, wireless and Internet capabilities or incapabilities.
