Coulton Wins World Doubles Championship in Spain
HILTON HEAD ISLAND SC (TENNIS E-News) – Hilton Head Islander Tom Coulton added a third world doubles championship to his resume earlier this month, teaming with Jan Gunnarsson of Sweden to win the ITF Senior Men’s 45 title in Mallorca, Spain. They defeated Simon Arms/Bruce Ferguson of Australia 7-5, 3-6, 6-0 in the final.
Coulton’s first two world’s doubles championships came in the 40s division, winning with Andres Jarryd of Sweden and Egan Adams of the U.S. Last fall, Coulton defeated 45s World’s #1 Van Wilder at the U.S. National Clay Courts.

Two years ago TENNIS E-News ran a well-received series of excerpts from "The Code, The Players' Guide for Unofficiated Matches". You have asked for a repeat? You got it.
May a doubles team switch its serving order at the beginning of any set or the 10-point match tiebreak? Yes. There is no requirement that any doubles team retain the same serving order for a new set or 10-point match tiebreak.
*Note: TENNIS E-News is not making up these items. All are taken word-for-word from USTA's "The Code" that can be found in the "Friend at Court" handbook or as a stand-alone leaflet -- available by going to http://www.usta.com and selecting "USTA Shop" and then "Books" on that page.
